Daylight Savings Time means summer's coming...

Can't you feel it? The day's are getting longer... the light's changing. I scored a little evening surf- that's my way of kicking it all off. Summer's coming, there's no doubt about it. Here's a couple photos from D.S.T's first work day:

I can't stop shooting sunsets. How's this tilt shift effect? I'm shooting with a new camera these days- the super small, super RADICAL Canon S95... if you're looking for a hot little pocket camera, this is absolutely the one.
Black and white and a splash of blue- kind of cliche but still fun. The surf was basically junk. I managed to nab five or six waves in the hour I spent teeter tottering around in the chop. Practice makes perfect and practicing in junk surf really sharpens the saw (that's for you Big Chad).
Look up "surf truck" in the dictionary and this is what you'll see: single cab, early eighties Toyota with the slide in camper stuffed with wetsuits, boards and wax. I love trucks like this. That Chris and Briar in the front seat, pulling up for a little early evening surf check.
Owner/operator and faithful companion: Good people both of them.
I know, I know... but I just couldn't resist. For some reason, I just like this shot.
