When I first started to stand up paddle surf these were the kind of days that I thought would always be reserved for my regular surf boards. I was wrong. I am learning more and more that my stand up board is my "go-to" board. It is the first thing I think about when I think about surfing. When I daydream of waves I'd like to surf, it is on a stand up board. It is always the first board I grab in the morning and while the dust continues to collect on all five of my regular surfboards my custom stand up board is constantly dripping saltwater from the racks.

Today was a fun day to surf, especially if you made it out before the holiday crowds, but it could tax you hard for biting off more than you could chew. I paid my taxes more than a few times today.
